NFL Fans Are Worried About Aaron Rodgers After Concerning Video Surfaces From Jets Practice

Aaron Rodgers was one of the New York Jets’ highest-profile acquisitions of the 2023 off-season after being brought over in a trade with the Green Bay Packers. The trade excited Jets fans, who thought all their quarterback problems had been solved.

Unfortunately, that was far from the case, as the 2021 NFL MVP winner went down with an injury less than five minutes into the Jets 2023 home opener against the Bills. That injury kept him sidelined for the rest of the 2023 season, which may be why this Jets practice clip unsettles fans.

Aaron Rodgers checks on his foot during Jets practice.

In the clip, Rodgers can be seen sitting on the back of a trailer with a trainer attending to his feet on what some seem to think is an injury. However, it doesn’t seem to have affected the 40-year-old, as he was seen slinging the ball once he was done being tended to.

Aaron Rodgers Practices After Treatment

One NFL fan pointed out that he is a “40-year-old quarterback with a lot of miles on him.” He pointed out that the fans have a right to be worried, as Rodgers has yet to prove that he is able to return to his MVP style of play.

Another fan criticized Rodgers’s decision to return to the NFL this season. He called the Jets signal caller “nuts for even attempting another season,” pointing to the fact that the NFL veteran has no reason to come back and play as he would be “great in the booth.”

It should be noted that the last time Aaron Rodgers saw meaningful playing time was in 2022. He played 17 games, passing for nearly 3,700 yards and 26 touchdowns compared to just 12 interceptions, yet the Packers failed to make the playoffs.

NewYork Jets fans hope that Rodgers can make a complete comeback in 2024 after a tough 2023 season. If he can return to form, the Jets could make a Super Bowl run, and we could see them in New Orleans in February.
