Travis Kelce is giving a peek inside his date nights with Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, revealed what he likes to cook on a date night during a conversation with former Bachelor star Matt James at Kelce Jam.
“I just recently found out how to make some home-cooked pasta. Like some actual noodles, homecooked and everything.
So I guess just some noodles with some spicy lemon garlic and shrimp,” Kelce said in a video posted on James’ Instagram and TikTok on Tuesday, June 18. “Shrimp linguini.”
While he said he doesn’t consider himself a cook, Kelce revealed what Swift, 34, is best at cooking at a press conference earlier this month.
“Taylor makes a great pop-tart and cinnamon roll,” he said with a cheeky smile.
According to former NFL player Bernie Kosar, Swift’s cinnamon rolls are something he enjoyed regularly throughout the football season.
Kosar, 60, recalled having a pregame meal at Kelce’s house and witnessing Swift bringing the tasty treat for those in attendance during an interview on Audacy’s AM 560 Sports WQAM last December.
“That was at his house like three hours before the game. We’re having pregame meal and Taylor is so nice she comes in by herself and she’s so cool, she brings, she made her homemade cinnamon rolls for Travis for pregame meal,” said Koser.
Swift’s pop tarts are also something Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has said made Swift “fit in” with Kelce’s teammates.
“Kind of behind-the-scenes, she, to fit in — she didn’t even know she was doing this, I don’t think — she likes to cook, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade pop tarts. So it was over. She knew right where to go,” Reid, 66, said during an interview at the NFL Scouting Combine.
It’s no surprise that the two like to cook together, as Kelce’s mom, Donna, previously told PEOPLE that he and his brother Jason “ate a lot” as kids.
“They could sit down and eat an entire chicken in high school each — not together; each one of them could finish a chicken,” the mom of two said.
