KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
The Kansas City Chiefs held their third full-team training camp practice in St. Joseph on Tuesday.
The team is setting up shop at Western Missouri State University for the next several weeks as the Super Bowl champions look to find their chemistry ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
Following practice, running back Isiah Pacheco, head coach Andy Reid and right tackle Jawaan Taylor stepped aside to speak with reporters.

Coach Reid’s biggest update on Thursday concerned rookie receiver Xavier Worthy, who missed his second straight practice due to illness.
Reid said that Worthy is feeling better but not quite enough to return to the practice field on Tuesday.
The team’s first day in full pads will arrive on Friday.
Isiah Pacheco Press Conference
Kansas City’s starting running back is heading into his first season, the third of his career, as a clear leader on the team. Unquestionably, the team’s RB1, Pacheco, is now also one of the team’s biggest energy givers, following the departure of linebacker Willie Gay Jr. earlier in the offseason.
Pacheco also said that he writes his goals in his notebook before the season, and he hit all but one in 2023.
The fan favorite is just as hungry as his teammates for the potential of achieving the NFL’s elusive Super Bowl three-peat.
Right Tackle Jawaan Taylor
The team’s starting right tackle told reporters that he came into camp in better shape than in 2023, relying primarily on upping the amount of cardio he did during offseason training.
After an up-and-down first season with the team, Taylor said his other primary offseason focus was adjusting his get-off during the snap to reduce the number of false start penalties he receives.
The starter also made positive remarks about his teammates, second-year Wanya Morris and rookie Kingsley Suamataia, who are currently battling for the opportunity to start at left tackle.
