Travis Kelce is back to work after spending the first half of the summer attending multiple Taylor Swift Eras Tour shows.
Travis Kelce has officially clocked back into work — and is rocking a very familiar look!
On Sunday, no. 87 had his first official day at Kansas City Chiefs training camp at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph. Kelce, 34, arrived at the training facility with other veteran members of the team, including his best friend, Patrick Mahomes.
“KILLA STACHE IS BACK 👨🏻,” the team’s official X (formally known as Twitter) account tweeted alongside a picture of the tight end in his full practice gear.
In another post, the team shared a video of Kelce making his entrance into the facility with the team and showing off his freshly-shaved mustache.
“The return of El Travador,” it read.
Kelce’s stache is a different look than he’s been sporting since the end of the NFL season in February and while he’s been supporting his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during the Eras Tour this summer. The Super Bowl champion has been rocking a full beard and his signature fade haircut.
The tight end’s return comes after he made his 13th Eras Tour appearance in Gelsenkirchen, Germany last week. Kelce was on hand and kept a low profile while watching Swift take the stage. Swift acknowledged her man’s continued support by calling him out as “the guy on the Chiefs” while singing her hit song, “Karma.” She initially debuted the lyric change back in November. Swift has made the sweet change at every show Kelce has been in the audience for.
The pair — who marked their 1-year relationship anniversary this month — showed some PDA as they left the venue. Last season, Swift, 34, showed her support for Kelce as she attended various games, after making her debut inside of the suites of Arrowhead Stadium in September. The “Love Story” songstress was also on hand when Kelce and the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl.
Last week, Kelce’s coach, Andy Reid, voiced his support for Swift and Kelce’s relationship during an appearance on The Athletic’s Scoop City podcast.
“I think it’s great for him. He can handle it. As a matter of fact, I think he probably loves it to a point,” Reid, 66, said of how the NFL star deals with fame. “I think there’s a great escape for him.”
He added, “I said that about Taylor, too. I mean, she comes to the game, she can kind of escape having to be the show. When he goes to her concerts, she’s the star,” he continued, before quipping, “He can be hanging out there and be the support or the waterboy, so he can do that.”
In May, a source told ET that people close to the couple know they are in their romance for the long haul.”Taylor and Travis are doing amazing, and their loved ones see an engagement coming sooner than later,” he source said in May. “They make a great match and there’s no question about that.”
Kelce and the Chiefs play their first preseason game on Aug 10. when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. The first official game of the season will be Sept. 5 when they take on the Baltimore Ravens. As for Swift, she’ll be on the road internationally for the Eras Tour until December when she wraps in Vancouver, Canada.
