BREAKING: Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice Is Now Getting Hit With A Massive Lawsuit

It goes from bad to worse for Rashee Rice.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice was driving 119 mph before causing a six-vehicle crash last month on a Dallas highway, and now he is dealing with even more fallout from that accident that saw him and his passengers fleeing from the scene.

On Monday, two of the victims of that six-vehicle crash filed a $1 million lawsuit against Rashee Rice, according to Fox4KC.

The lawsuit states that Irina Gromova and Edvard Petrovskiy suffered “trauma to the brain, lacerations to the face requiring stitches, multiple contusions about the body, disfigurement, internal bleeding, and other internal and external injuries that may only be fully revealed over the course of medical treatment.”

At least seven people suffered injuries in this multi-vehicle crash.

The lawsuit said, “The victims and bystanders of the carnage tried to engage the Defendants, but they were ignored in the Defendants’ attempt to flee without responsibility.”

After the crash, Rashee Rice and Theodore Knox left the scene.

Days later, Rice would finally admit to being the driver of a Lamborghini Urus police say was driving 119 mph before crashing into other cars. A Corvette registered in Rice’s name was being driven by SMU wide receiver Teddy Knox.

“I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities,” Rice wrote on Instagram. “I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday’s accident.”

At the moment, Rashee Rice is facing one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury, and six counts of collision causing injury. One second-degree felony he is facing could be punishable by two to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

The report adds that Gromova and Petrovskiy demand a trial by jury.

If convicted on all counts of his car accident, Rice could face prison time. On top of that, he could also face punishment from the NFL under its personal conduct policy, though that will come down after the case has been adjudicated.
