Meanwhile, fans say the tight end is a total ‘daddy’s boy.’
Travis Kelce is celebrating the “proudest dad” ever in a touching new video tribute dedicated to Ed Kelce.
The Kansas City Chiefs star took to TikTok on Sunday, June 16 to celebrate Father’s Day with a compilation of personal videos featuring the “big guy” himself, set to “The Nights” by the late Avicii, featuring the lyrics, “One day, my father, he told me, ‘Son, don’t let it slip away.’
He took me in his arms, I heard him say, ‘When you get older your wild heart will live for younger days—think of me if ever you’re afraid.'”
A series of photos and clips flashed by to the song, showing Ed guest starring on his and brother Jason Kelce’s podcast New Heights, supporting Travis at a variety of events, and proudly greeting his youngest son in the aftermath.
The video was edited in a “fancam” style—otherwise known as a video montage of a specific celebrity or character featuring bold filters and transitions—leading one fan to jokingly question, “who taught travis how to use capcut?”
“the special effects are…special! 😁,” another reply teased, while others begged for a repeat of the video style to showcase some of his footage with Taylor Swift.
But, more than anything, fans couldn’t get over what a total “daddy’s boy” Travis clearly is, nor how Ed is undeniably the “proudest dad” to both him and Jason.
They flooded the comments with praise and well wishes, with one celebrating, “happy Father’s day big Ed! thank you for raising some amazing sons ❤️.”
“Mr.Kelce Thank you for us fans enjoying the laughter and talented men you have raised,” another wrote. “The best football players ever.👍.”
