Patrick Mahomes has looked great at the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp practices in St. Joseph, and he put on a clinic today at Missouri Western State University.
During a passing drill, the reigning Super Bowl MVP found a familiar target deep down the field, hitting veteran receiver Mecole Hardman with a perfectly thrown ball.
Hardman, who scored the decisive points in Kansas City’s victory in Super Bowl LVIII, hauled in the pass with ease and scampered into the endzone for a training camp touchdown.

Though Hardman faces an uphill battle to make Kansas City’s 53-man roster, plays like this are sure to stick with Mahomes, who has had no problem developing chemistry with his new-look receiving corps.
Expect to see more from Hardman during the Chiefs’ preseason tilt against the Jacksonville Jaguars on August 10.
