The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is constantly trying to learn from the new generations
Every time a new player is selected from college, he injects a great deal of energy to a team. The way he goes about, the things he used to do and the music he listens to and that alone can start changing the culture of an NFL team, and in Kansas City it could very well help Super Bowl Champion Patrick Mahomes.
It seems that the Chiefs quarterback is struggling with the way he relates to his younger teammates but don’t worry fans, we are not talking about what he does on the field when the whistle blows, we are talking about the music they listen to.
During practice before the first game of the preseason, Mahomes was very honest when it came to coming clean on musical performers and songs, as he admits that he doesn’t always knows what artist is playing it and what song is it.
Patrick Mahomes is being honest
In a recent vide posted on social media, the NFL star shares what he thinks of the current situation he is going trough as he chats with his teammates on the field while being mic’d for the training session.
“I just crazy to me how much music I dont know out here. Like I know I’m getting old. Like I listen to all types of music too and I just don’t know anything out here. I ain’t ever heard this song in my life,” Mahomes says, making everyone field old, or young if you are a Chiefs players
When Patrick Mahomes took the reins of the Chiefs in the 2018 season, he was the young guy coming in but know he is the veteran that doesnt know much music, therefore he might want to catch up on artists and songs before it’s too late and he can’t bond with his team.
